Lykke to Host Community Talks
Lykke, a Swiss Fintech company building a global marketplace on the blockchain, today announced Lykke Talks, a new series of lectures and panel discussions about the role of technology in creating economic opportunities. Lykke Talks begins this winter in Zurich and then travels to cities around the world.
Each Lykke Talks event brings together progressive thinkers in academics and industry with members of the Lykke leadership team to engage the Lykke community worldwide.
“We want these talks to be community gatherings,” said Lykke founder and CEO Richard Olsen. “Come share a drink and a laugh with us, and see what’s happening on the cutting edge. Become an investor, or partner with us, or just be inspired, and get involved.” The inaugural Lykke Talks, entitled The Future of Financial Markets, takes place on February 9, 2017, at Labor Bar in Zurich. The program features a keynote address by Lykke co-founder and COO Sergey Ivliev about the advances in Lykke Exchange and Lykke Wallet technology.
A panel discussion follows. The topic is “A Global Marketplace on the Blockchain: The Drivers for Success,” with panelists Daniel Gasteiger, co-founder of nexussquared; Marc Bernegger, member of the FinLeap advisory board and co-founder of Finance 2.0; Oliver Bussmann, president of the Crypto Valley Association and founder of Bussmann Advisory; and Richard Olsen.
Admission to Lykke Talks is free. Members of the Lykke community are encouraged to attend.
“And bring along a guest,” Olsen added. “We want to meet people as forward-thinking as you are. Don’t keep Lykke all to yourself. Let’s continue to grow our community.” To reserve your place, simply register at zurichtalk.lykke.com. Space is limited, so sign up now.
